Work Zone Speed Enforcement Program
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), are implementing a statewide Automated Work Zone Speed Enforcement (AWZSE) program to reduce work zone speeds, change driver behavior, and improve work zone safety for workers and motorists. For more information on the Automated Work Zone Speed Enforcement program, including a list of projects where the units are deployed, visit WorkZoneCameras.PennDOT.gov.
To help protect PA Turnpike Workers, we’re placing cameras in various—and changing—work zones. Speed, and you’ll receive a warning, then a fine. To know where these cameras are right now, visit the traffic camera page.
