OSHA Fatal 4 in Construction

The "Fatal 4" are the injuries that are responsible for over 50% of construction related deaths. They are: falls, electrocutions, struck-by objects, and caught-between objects.
Here are some quick tips to avoid potential tragedies.
Falls
Wear proper PPE (Fall harness)
Use 3 points of contact when climbing a ladder
Do not over-reach, move the ladder for better access
Stay behind safety barriers and away from edges
Electrocutions
Use proper lock-out tag-out procedures
Do not work in standing water
Assess your work area and notify your manager of unsafe conditions
Struck by objects
Be cognizant of your surroundings
Wear all PPE (hard hat, boots, glasses, etc.)
Do not cross danger (red) or caution (yellow) tape without approval.
Caught between objects
Keep your fingers and other body parts out of pinch-point areas
Don't get in a hurry and forget common sense
Assess your work area and notify your manager of unsafe conditions
